Hello, I’m Dr. Eno Nsima-Obot, popularly known as Doctor Eno.
I’m a board-certified physician, health advocate, and health literacy consultant — and I’m also a three-time cancer survivor. After nearly three decades in medicine and a deeply personal journey through my own health battles, I understand firsthand how overwhelming, confusing, and even frightening the healthcare system can feel.
As a professional woman over fifty, you likely have a lot on your plate, from managing your career to caring for loved ones and perhaps the needs of aging parents.
Let's face it, you've probably prioritized the needs of others ahead of your own for years.
Perhaps, like me, you've recently faced a health challenge. Or you may have seen firsthand a loved one go through an illness, and you know that you don't want the same thing happening to you.
But when you go in search of solutions on how to optimize your health, you're met with not only conflicting information, but you have no way to verify the validity of the credentials of these so-called "internet experts".🤯
That’s why I’m dedicating my work to supporting women over fifty, navigating their health, or advocating for those they love with clarity and confidence. No more second-guessing what's working or not working.
And together we'll put an end to medical gaslighting.
I combine my qualification as a board-certified physician with my lived experience as a patient to assist you.
Facing an illness can be isolating. You don’t have to go it alone. As your health advocate, I’m here to stand with you every step of the way.

How I Help Organizations
Throughout my medical career, I’ve seen how poor health literacy and a lack of culturally responsive care can lead to worse outcomes, especially for minorities and underserved communities.
That’s why I will partner with organizations seeking to enhance their health education programs, support systems, and community outreach initiatives.
Whether you want to improve the clarity of your patient education materials or deliver engaging, relevant wellness workshops, I can help you design and deliver initiatives that build trust and confidence among the people you serve.
Some organizational services include:
✅ Health literacy and advocacy workshops tailored to the unique needs of your employees.
✅ Consulting on educational resources and patient communications.
✅ Staff training on culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
✅ Corporate wellness program development and evaluation.
✅ Community outreach and engagement strategy.

🤔 Why Work With Me?
My perspective is unique: I have always been passionate about empowering my patients to participate in their healthcare decisions by ensuring they understand their medical diagnoses and treatment plan. I bring that same passion and purpose to advocacy and health literacy.
⭐️ The word Doctor comes from the Latin root word Docere which means "to teach".
I was motivated to pursue a 12-month training as a professional life coach in 2010, and I wrote an award-winning book for my patients titled "Dr. Eno's A-to-Z Guide to Thriving with Type 2 Diabetes" (2018). I also became a certified functional medicine practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2019.
This unique combination enables me to bring a deep knowledge of evidence-based medicine, while also recognizing the value of relevant complementary and integrative care.
Through my coaching lens, I help clients clarify their health and life goals and provide practical tools to achieve them.
Having been a patient, I can relate to the human side of illness on a deeper level—facing your mortality and the fears associated with that, the uncertainties about the future, and the decisions that need to be made in the moment.
⚡️Women over fifty often find themselves at the intersection of midlife physical, mental and emotional changes as well as complex medical symptoms that may be challenging to make sense of.
My mission is to lighten that load, reduce the overwhelm, keep you informed, and help you feel more in control and supported throughout your health journey, so that you can THRIVE well into your golden years. 🌟
